OLIVER TWIST

PRIMARY | SECONDARY | A LEVEL STUDENTS

A modern adaptation of one of the most famous classics of English literature by author Charles Dickens.

The orphan Oliver Twist lives in a foster home, in poverty and famine. Despite his hardships Oliver is a nice and confident young man, which is unfortunately why he is easily fooled. Despite his many problems, his nobility and sincerity – the qualities that characterise him – will save him in unexpected situations. Tired of the treatment he receives, he escapes to London where he finds himself immersed in a network of young criminals. During his time in London, Oliver meets a host of villainous characters and has many adventures which, unfortunately,  eventually leads to his arrest. Rescued by a friendly Aristocrat, and acquitted of all charges, Oliver is offered a home where he can start a new life. But the gang of criminals do not intend to allow Oliver to disappear and possibly reveal their secrets in a life of crime.
